September's Marginalia: The Hidden Sentiment. You.

As usual, a lot of things are on your mind. Cuz you are a contemplator. However, recently several thoughts are still lingering...

like stains on your favourite clothes.

They swallow your gleeful reveries. Cuz they are your unhappy memories. Worse, every single pouch that stores the unwanted montages is unwilling to let go of the feelings and emotions that come together with it. The pain, the dismay, the incredulity, crap indignation; all too real. Our brain is truly remarkably special isn't it? And of course, the people around you. The closer, the stranger. You know them for years, teens to twenties, schools to university and the life after. You feel like you can see through them. But, the more you see, the more you want to close your eyes. The 'closeness' is sometimes unnecessary cuz...

September's Marginalia (Oh finally an update!): A confession of a shopaholic - How to be a Shopaholic when you are BROKE

Well well. We meet again, empty white blog post box that needs to be filled with writings after being abandoned for a few months. I am sorry, and I admit that it is hard for me to keep things going. I think I have commitment issues. Err, no, I will be a good wife (wait, what?) if God wills it. This is about something else okay! I think my commitment, on posting blogs or updating stuff or  keeping the 'insides' of my wardrobe tidy and not out of place or keeping my study table presentable for more than a week or updating the lives of my OCs (original characters, in case you don't understand artist/otaku's term), anything that needs updating without any super important purposes, is terrible and always wavery. I think motivation is the main issue here as well. I'm not committed because I'm not motivated. No motivation, no action, which is baaaaad. Only recently I gained unknown drive to post something and voila! This post was born! Oh, I'm moving away from the main focus of the day (I have trouble getting straight to the point as well....)

Okay!

*coughs*

Let's talk about "How to be a Shopaholic when you are BROKE"

......I think I'll be right back. I need to get a shower. Sweating like a pig here....

March's Marginalia: Random Literature

That Light

When you thought that everything was over for you….
When you thought that everything was meaningless…
When you thought that nothing could change you….
Suddenly there was a speck of light shining upon your despair.
It slowly, very slowly, lured you towards it…
The despair and despondency you had accumulated all these years…
Slowly disappeared…
You soon began to live.
But the light faded.

That light. It was not yours but…
Would you let it go?

When that inspiration rushed into my veins, I created this. That inspiration came from Acid Black Cherry - Yes.

Watching the PV and reading the translation of the lyric made me so emotional. LOLOL The chemistry between the super egoistic and cold guy (who doesn't want to admit his love) and a bright cute loving child is cute!!! I find it amusing and exhilarating. I assume the love expressed in the lyric is much more universal than the one in the PV. The lyric could cover all sorts of love. The love in the PV on the contrary is portrayed to be merely platonic, familial or parental love kinda thing. Nonetheless, the poem above was born!

Ok I missed February's and January's marginalia. I've written one for February BUT, I haven't finished it. Not yet.

December's Marginalia: The public loo needs loud noise/music!

Have you ever been in a situation where:

1) You have horrendous stomach ache/upset tummy. Probably it's diarrhoea.
2) You enter the public ladies. It's empty. Watta relief!
3) Once you're inside the cubicle, somebody enters the loo. No, seems like a few ladies are already in the loo as well!
4) The loo is too quiet. You can hear every single thing. Including 'that', shortly. Yes.
5) Self-consciousness raises to its maximum level. Now everyone will know you're diarrhoeic because it's too quiet. Terrific!

I hate/despise/abhor/abominate mute public loo. I'm one of those self-conscious girls who prefer (completely) empty loo for at least half an hour, or a super noisy one. I don't want tranquillity when I'm baking brownies! The awkwardness is too unbearable and mortifying!! Don't you think so? I mean, I don't mind others', seriously I don't but mine is....well I'm too shy to let others hear 'it'.

So I hereby suggest to public loo managers or loo companies (if there's any) to install 2 - 4 huge speakers inside the loo and play any loud music that can drown any unwanted, unexpected, unplanned 'sound effects' to save humankind from awful, traumatic, humiliating moments of their lives.

A bit exaggerated but admit it - it's a practical suggestion right? *winks*
Wait, why am I thinking about loo right after I wake up?

Sincerely yours
Pinku no Ichigo Yuki (Rai)
